SUNDAY - JUNE 3rd - 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Shepaug Soccer Club and Northwest District will be hosting a "Soccer Fun Day" for all families, friends and newcomers and anyone who wants to have fun on Sunday, June 3rd from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm at the pavilion and fields behind Washington Primary School in Washington Depot.
This is a FREE EVENT FOR EVERYONE - NO COST FOR ANYTHING! The Club will be providing food and drink such as dogs, chips and water/gatorade as well as popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones throughout the day. There will be inflatable jumping houses and slides for the kids as well as "soccer shorts" and small sided pick up games. Face painting and tatoos as well! The soccer shorts will be mini clinics given by soccer professionals to any child interested in participating to find out more about the game. All clinic participants will receive a Soccer Fun Day t-shirt as well. We will even have a soccer speed gun to test your leg strength and see how fast you kick a soccer ball!
The Club will also be accepting registration for their fall programs as well at this time for convenience. The normal registration period for the Club's fall programs is June 1 - July 10.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP MAN THE PLAY EQUIPMENT, FOOD MACHINES, CHECK PEOPLE IN, SUPERVISE FOOD TENT AND ASSIST IN SOCCER CLINICS AND FALL REGISTRATION.
